How to Make Honey and Lavender Night Cream?

Additional Information:

This Homemade Honey and Lavender Night Cream is hydrates skin as your face drinks in its benefits.  I researched the best natural ingredients for skin care and came up with this mixture. The combination of argan oil and coconut oil is a power house of moisture, skin healing, and anti aging properties. Honey adds moisture as well along with antimicrobial benefits. Lavender soothes your skin, and the scent can be calming and relaxing, helping you sleep better so that you wake up refreshed.

Even in ancient days they knew of the benefits of Frankincense as an astringent as well as a wrinkle, scar, and acne reducer.  I am not a doctor or aesthetician but several years of research and experimenting on myself have educated me on the wonderful benefits of natural products for your skin. I would recommend this for normal to dry skin, and remember a little bit goes a long way.

DIY Honey and Lavender Night Cream

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. raw honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Argan oil
  • 1 tsp. beeswax
  • 1/2 tsp. vitamin E oil
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops frankincense

Place your argan oil and small pieces of beeswax in an heat safe bowl.

Heat in 30 second increments, stirring each time until melted.

Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes, then stir in vitamin E, lavender, and frankincense.

Transfer the mixture to a small container with a tight fitting lid. ( I use a 4 oz. jelly mason jar to store mine).

To use: Dab two fingers on top of cream

Keep at a moderate room temperature for a soft cream. If it gets over warm mixture will liquefy but it is still good, just pop in the fridge to firm up a bit.

Cream will last 3-4 months.
